On Saturday, Carol and I hopped on a train for London. We ended up getting around to so many more places than expected. National Gallery? check. London eye from the south bank? check. Big Ben and Westminster Abbey? check. Crazily shopping and gulfing down burritos on Oxford street, attempting to understand modern art at the Tate, and seeing the Globe Theatre from the North bank; check, check and check! I’m so impressed by how much we did in only 8 hours, though I wish we had more time to explore and enjoy ourselves. London, I’ll be back!
P.S. stay tuned for a video!
P.P.S. this was a queued post, but carol and i have just arranged a spontaneous day trip to london for friday! so i’m going back sooner than expected, and i can’t wait.
